INTEGRA’s Olivia Normand at the 2023 American Trucking Association’s Trucking Legal Forum
In July INTEGRA Partner Olivia Normand had the opportunity to serve on a panel at the ATA Legal Forum, held at the the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines in San Diego, California. Olivia was a member of a four-person panel entitled, Navigating the Data Highway: From Privacy to Claims Defense. Also on the panel with Ms. Normand were Ms. Jill Gerdrum (Member at Hall & Evans), Seth Jewell (Staff Director - Legal, FedEx), and Angela Clark (VP of Risk Management, PAM Transportation).

INTEGRA Forensics Sponsors Free ACT Prep Classes for Student Athletes
NTEGRA is proud to announce that we’ve partnered with the Hoover-Vestavia Soccer Club (HVS) to help them provide free ACT test preparation classes for their student athletes. HVS is one of the premier youth soccer clubs in the Southeastern US, with teams competing in MLS Next, National Academy League, and Development Player Leagues.

INTEGRA Staff Completes Axon Video Analysis Certification
Over the last several years, video evidence in highway crashes, workplace accidents, and other mishaps has become almost ubiquitous. Consumer-marketed technology like the Garmin Virb to high-end video telematics systems like the Lytx DriveCam are increasingly common on the highway while an ever-growing number of businesses and state agencies are monitoring stationary cameras.

Messerschmidt Safety Consultants welcomes its newest Partner and with her, a new office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Olivia Normand began working with MSC as an intern, while she was completing her Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science at the University of Southern Mississippi. Olivia fell in love with the “outdoor laboratory” that Accident Reconstruction provided for her, and in 2015 she joined MSC as a full-time employee in the Hattiesburg, Mississippi office.

Bill Messerschmidt Teaching Human Factors in Bowling Green, Kentucky
On November 1, Bill Messerschmidt will be teaching a three-day class on Human Factors in Traffic Accident Reconstruction through the Forensic Training Group. The class focuses on helping police and private reconstruction experts understand and apply the fundamentals of Human Factors science to their work in traffic collision reconstruction.

INTEGRA Staff Participates in the TAARS Annual Conference
On October 19-21, three members of the INTEGRA staff will attend the Texas Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists Annual Conference in Austin, Texas. This year’s training session will focus on advanced Event Data Recorder systems in Heavy Trucks and Commercial Vehicles. The class will be co-taught by Mr. Steve Anderson and Mr. James Loftis, two experts who teach regularly for the Forensic Training Group. Topics will include LaneGaurd and OnGuard systems, data from Bendix systems, trailer ABS units, and new data available from electronically controlled transmissions.

Bill Messerschmidt invited to speak at the MATAI Fall Conference
On Tuesday, September 13th, 2022 Bill Messerschmidt was an invited speaker at the Midwest Association of Technical Accident Investigators’ Fall Conference. The three-day conference was hosted by the Iowa State Patrol at the Prairie Meadows Raceway and Casino, and included live crash testing with several Heavy Vehicles, including dump trucks and school buses.

MSC / INTEGRA Add two new Certified AXON (iNPUT-ACE) users
For over three years, MSC has been a regular customer of the industry’s premier video analysis software, iNPUT-ACE. Ben Smith and Bill Messerschmidt completed certification programs in 2018 and 2019. Recently, iNPUT-ACE was purchased by AXON and the software’s capabilities were greatly enhanced, leading to a new, three-tiered certification program.
